Cedar Care has partnered with University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine Researchers and Sunnybrook Academic Family Health Team for the CHOICES: Hypertension Virtual Education Program.
CHOICES is a study to improve nutritional literacy and diet among black Canadians with high blood pressure.
Join a FREE virtual program designed for Black Canadians with high blood pressure.
Participants will be asked to:
- Participate in four 1-hour virtual sessions (1 hour/week for 4 weeks)
- Complete Nutrition Literacy Questionnaires
- Complete Dietary Intake Questionnaires
To qualify for participation:
- Identify as Black
- โฅ30 years old
- Diagnosed with high blood pressure for at least 1 year
- Comfortable with written and oral communication in English
Participants will receive:
- Up to $75 in compensation
- FREE nutrition handbook curated by dietitians and nutrition specialists
